Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 has received the Sim Update 3. The developers of Asobo Studio have released the patch 1.14.5.0 for download.

They share the patch notes in a current blog entry – and thus go into the individual changes and innovations. With the update, the makers are adding new content for the flight simulator, among other things.

From now on, for example, contrails of your aircraft will be displayed – multiplayer and AI are not yet supported. In the world map, on the other hand, you will discover a new menu with which the aircraft can be further adapted for the next session in order to make specific settings from the real aircraft world.

In addition, the Sim Update 3 includes a number of bug fixes and optimizations for the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. The developers have eliminated individual causes of crashes, deactivated the autopilot on the JMB VL-3, integrated the VOR / ADF feature and adapted the extended HUD on the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.

Especially with the engines, the update plays a fix for a problem that could prevent the engines from shutting down when unlimited fuel was active.

In addition, engine adjustments are pending for the Beechcraft Baron G58 and Beechcraft Bonanza G36. In addition, a number of adjustments for cockpit interactions and virtual reality are mentioned.

The full patch notes with all changes and new features can be found on the flight simulation website. We will keep you up to date in our Gaming area.
