Sony takes Avengers of Marvel PS Plus Extra release on March 31, making it the 10th game to drop from the list this month. Eight games are slated for release next week, and WWE 2K22 left the service in early March.

Marvel’s Avengers PS Plus Extra, Premium release coincides with end of game support

On March 31, Crystal Dynamics will end content support for Marvel’s Avengers, so it only makes sense that Sony would allow players to try until then. The game will eventually be delisted in September 2023, meaning it will no longer be available for purchase online or at retail.

Sony probably didn’t want to keep Marvel’s Avengers in the PS Plus catalog until September, as the game market and other online bells and whistles will also close at the end of March. Only the online servers will remain until September.

As for what happens after September, players will be able to play the campaign offline and in multiplayer as long as the servers are up. However, Crystal Dynamics makes no promises about the future.

Marvel’s Avengers servers will most likely go down soon after it’s removed, so enjoy it while you can.
