Hogwarts and its surroundings are full of puzzles to discover and solve in Hogwarts Legacy. Often these puzzles will grant you new gear, but other times you’ll have to beat them just to move on to the next area. During the Prisoner of Love quest, you will come across the Rickard Jackdaw puzzle inside an old safe. Play your cards right and you can beat this puzzle and get to the note on the other side. How to solve the Richard Jackdaw puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy
The Prisoner of Love quest is one of many main quests you will need to complete as you progress through Hogwarts Legacy. Like the other quests, you will need to solve a puzzle if you wish to complete it. Towards the end of the mission, you will need to go to the safe where Jackdaw’s book is. Blocking the book is a puzzle that will remove the large beams that fill the doorway.

Solving this puzzle may seem quite complicated, but it is actually quite simple. To solve it, just use the Revelio spell by pressing the left D-Pad button if you are on console. Using this spell will cause some of the handles on the wall to glow blue. Use the Accio spell on the glowing handles to knock them off the wall.

You don’t need to pull the handles in any specific order, just pull them all and the beams blocking the door will move apart. Once the lightning bolts are gone, you can access the room and complete the quest. When you exit the vault, you will be visited by Richard Jackdaw, who will be surprised that someone has finally managed to solve his riddle. Now you can continue solving other puzzles like the bell tower.
