Whether you’re a new or old Castlevania fan, one “weapon” you should definitely consider unlocking is Maria’s Cat in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC. This white kitten serves as a deployable ability that not only passively attacks enemies, but can also be activated for a raging tiger-type attack. Additionally, Maria’s cat will visibly follow you as you explore the map, and you can even carry her on your back while you explore. If that’s not enough, unlocking this cat will also reward you with Maria’s playable outfit in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania.

How to find Maria’s outfit and cat location in Dead Cells

To unlock Maria and her cat’s outfit in the Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC, you must first find her locked room, located somewhere in the third underground area outside the castle. After crossing the courtyard and climbing the elevator to the Map Tower, you will enter a section with several underground chambers before arriving at Dracula’s Castle. Maria’s room will always spawn in this location. To open your bedroom door, you will need an item known as a Registered Key.
How to Use Saved Key in Dead Cells

According to Maria’s cat random spawn point in the Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania DLC, you may have already found and tricked the nervous feline to acquire the Ribbon Key. For example, we first found Maria’s white cat in the courtyard outside the castle on our first run, but we weren’t sure what to do with the key. Instead, the cat spawned in the shop area of the map during our next run. Therefore, Maria’s cat can appear in different places on the map.
To get the saved key in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania, you need to chase after Maria’s nervous cat to grab the key. Once you have it, go back to Maria’s room in the third part of the map and open the door. After talking to the vampire slayer, you will be rewarded with Maria’s outfit in Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania. To get Maria’s cat as a deployable weapon in Dead Cells, be sure to pet the cat before you leave. He will teleport next to the table in the room next to the entrance.
