On April 12, Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks will release an expanded and updated version of Ghostwire: Tokyoits critically acclaimed supernatural action game, with new content and gameplay, new areas to explore, never-before-seen scenes, and more, for current and future game owners on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Additionally, this updated and longer version will also be posted on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. New content and gameplay in the “Spider’s Thread” update will deliver the most comprehensive version of Tokyo Tango, from day one on Xbox and PC with Xbox Game Pass.
New Game Mode: Spider’s Thread
In addition to the main game, the gameplay the spider’s thread presents players with a 30-stage challenge chosen from 120 hand-crafted levels with one simple goal: get to the end. As you overcome challenges and complete stages, you’ll unlock more abilities and earn in-game currency to spend on upgrades.
Explore new areas and discover more story details
The update the spider’s thread adds new places to visit in the ghost streets of supernatural Tokyo, including the local high school. In these new locations, players will need to complete quests to uncover more mysteries. The main game’s story will also have expanded cutscenes that add more depth to the plot as Akito and KK continue their journey to stop the dangerous Hannya from destroying Tokyo.
Face new enemies with new abilities
The update the spider’s thread brings new and dangerous visitors to Tokyo, like the invisible silent gaze or the elusive punishment. To defeat these new enemies, Akito will have new abilities, like the dash and the devastating counterattack.
