Speaking to Howard Stern, Post Malone recalled meeting Taylor Swift backstage

With a career full of hits, with songs that have reached billions of plays on Spotify, Post Malone draws a lot of attention from Taylor Swift, who is responsible for choosing a song by the rapper that is “incredible for f***.”

During an interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM, he recalled a backstage meeting with Swift, who will be performing in Brazil in November 2023, and she commented on how she is a fan of “Better Now,” one of the singles and main tracks from the album Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018).

“We were passing by and she said: ‘Oh my God! It’s good to see you. Better Now is amazing!'” recalled the 28-year-old. “And I thought, ‘What? That’s crazy, you’re a great songwriter! Thank you so much.'”

There are so many beautiful artists in the world and for another artist to recognize that is a very, very nice thing. It’s a very special thing. It was a very nice moment and very inspiring.

Next, Howard Stern commented on the great success of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour. Then Post Malone opined that the singer’s growing success is “cool as hell.”

“I recently had the opportunity to hang out with her and she’s genuinely one of the kindest, most thoughtful [people] and an incredible songwriter. P*** me***, incredible,” he said. Finally, the singer added how Swift is “blowing everything away,” while he just does “the best I can.”
