MTV VMAs 2021: Madison Beer Wears Beyoncé’s 2003 Dolce & Gabbana Dress
Madison Beer took her inspiration from a pop predecessor to create her look at Sunday’s 2021 MTV VMAs.
The dress, which was 18 years old, was worn by Beyonce, a 22-yearold singer. It was part of Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring 2003 Collection. Beyonce had worn this exact dress before to tape the David Letterman show in 2003. The rare designer piece was sold for $5.995. It’s made from panels of rose pink leather and silk with corset detailing. Beyonce styled her dress with heels that reached just below her knees with sparkly pink peeptoe sandals. Beer kept hers unlaced at the hip and wore metallic, heeled sandals. The look was paired with loose waves, soft pink lips and a soft pink lip by both stars.
Beer is both a presenter at the MTV VMAs and a nominee for Push Performance of Year. Before the awards show, she tweeted that she “barely fell asleep last night” and that it was “@vmasday !!!!.” !
