Bit2Me continues to consolidate itself as a reference in the crypto sector in Spain. Its latest move has been an alliance with Ledger Enterprises, the leading company in self-custody solutions for digital assets, with the aim of obtaining greater protection for its users.

Ledger enables organizations to participate in the digital asset ecosystem securely, and will provide Bit2Me with treasury management, DeFi, NFT and token creation capabilities with secure governance.

Ledger solutions take advantage of a combination of hardware, firmware and software that provide Bit2Me with extra security and eliminate any possibility of cyber attack.

The alliance with Ledger also includes an insurance policy of 150 million euros with the British insurance market Lloyd’s , with a license to operate in Spain since 1993 and with offices in the Spanish capital for almost 20 years.

Leif Ferreira, CEO of Bit2Me, has valued this new ally in the crypto world:

“The security of cryptocurrencies is key for us and that is why we continue to reinforce the measures that provide greater guarantees to our clients. We have never failed in this regard and now that we are promoting the internationalization process, this agreement demonstrates the great commitment that we have in Bit2Me with our clients by partnering with the undisputed leader in cryptocurrency security.”

Bit2Me, which was born in 2014 with a staff of three people, already has around 200 workers. The company was born as an idea of Ferreira, who after having worked in a technology company at the University of Castellón and that went bankrupt, retired to a chalet in the Castellón countryside with two other friends to think about what they could do.

Thus, in the first wave of cryptocurrencies when bitcoin began to be talked about, he dedicated himself to developing a code and allocated 150 euros to start the project. He bought a domain, paid for a server and uploaded his development there.

“We are proud to work with Bit2Me to provide our best governance and secure hardware, reinforcing the security Bit2Me already offered for its customers. Ledger Enterprise and Bit2Me are aligned in our uncompromising dedication to providing highly secure solutions for businesses and consumers alike . manage their digital value, and we look forward to growing our partnership,” said Alexandre Lemarchand, Vice President of Global Sales and Alliances at Ledger.
