Disney revolutionized the social networks and digital media of half the planet after learning about some of the novelties that it presented to its shareholders during the quarterly meeting. Because by adding the box office of the last opuses of the franchises which have confirmed that they will have a new sequel, everyone is rubbing their hands. Toy Story 5? Frozen 3? Upside down 2? Zootopia 2? Yes to everything!

To give an example: Disney succeeded in raising more than 1 billion dollars thanks to Toy Story 4, four times what it brought in with Buzz Lightyear’s spin-off/prequel.
Obviously, these were different global scenarios due to the pandemic issue and the existence of Disney+, but few new IPs managed to make the numbers for the Buzz and Woody tetralogy. Toy Story 5 has already become the company’s big claim and we just have to wait to find out what the plot of our favorite toys will be. Will we see Woody and Bo again as toys without children? Will Woody and Jessie be the new rulers of Bonnie’s room?
For the moment, the participation of Tim Allen as the English voice of Buzz Lightyear. This is how he himself revealed in his official social media account: “See you soon Woody, you are a sad and strange little man and you have my sympathy. And let’s go to number 5! To infinity and beyond !”
Toy Story 5 wasn’t the only big announcement from the mouse company. The story of Anna and Elsa of Arendelle will return to the big screen to complete the trilogy. The sequel managed to gross $200 million more than the original, which puts it at almost $1.5 billion. Almost nothing!
Disney Animation Studios (aka Pixar) will also be very busy over the next few years generating sequels to two franchises that also hit theaters a few years ago: Inside Out and Zootopia. Inside Out 2 and Zootropolis 2 will expand the universes of both sagas for the benefit of the public.
To all this we must add the projects already in progress like Elemental, which will be the next Disney premiere that we will receive in cinemas. It only remains for us to know the calendar of a series of sequels that today has already made us smile.
