American ska punk band Sublime have announced the launch of their own cannabis brand, Reefers by Sublime.
The band confirmed the news on Twitter this week (February 7), writing, “After years of making weed has landed! The official Sublime cannabis brand is now for sale.
“We’ve partnered with award-winning Top Shelf Cultivation of Long Beach to ensure fellow #reefers enjoy the highest quality flower.”
There are currently three different types of pre-rolled joints: Smoke Two Joints In The Morning (Sativa), Smoke Two Joints In The Afternoon (Hybrid), and Smoke Two Joints At Night (Indica).
Sublime was first active between 1988 and 1996, releasing two albums -’40oz. Last year, it was announced that Sublime would be the focus of a new Sony-produced biopic, with the band’s two surviving members – bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh – serving as executive producers.
The two announced the film in a press release stating that they “can’t believe this is finally happening” and “couldn’t be more honored and excited to have the greats Francis Lawrence and Chris Mundy tell our story.” Lawrence will direct and Mundy will write the screenplay. Producers will include Dave Kaplan and Peter Paterno, and development will be handled by Sony’s 3000 Pictures, Chernin Entertainment and about:blank.
