Real Madrid are champions after beating Al-Hilal

In the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup final, striker Vinicius Júnior put in a fine performance, scoring twice in Los Blancos’ 5-3 win over Al-Hilal. The goals of the match for the locals were scored by Vinicius Júnior (12′ 1T and 23′ 2T), Federico Valverde (17′ 1T and 12′ 2T) and Karim Benzema (8′ 2T). While the away goals were scored by Moussa Marega (25′ 1T) and Luciano Vietto (17′ 2T and 33′ 2T).

Moussa Marega was applauded with his brilliant finish after 25 minutes in the first half. From the semi-circle, the striker fired a straight shot straight to the goal, after receiving help from Mohammed Kanno. The ball entered the right post of the opposing goal.

Vinicius Júnior put in a great performance. The Real Madrid striker shone scoring 2 goals, kicking 4 and making 51 correct passes.

Federico Valverde is another player who had a great game. The Real Madrid striker shone scoring 2 goals, kicking 4 and making 50 correct passes.

The game was contested, but there were more infractions than creating fair play.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti presented a tactical 4-3-3 arrangement with Andriy Lunin in goal; Dani Carvajal, Antonio Rüdiger, David Alaba and Eduardo Camavinga on the defensive line; Luka Modric, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Toni Kroos in the middle; and Federico Valverde, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Júnior in attack.

Meanwhile, Ramón Díaz’s side came out with a 4-3-3 tactical arrangement with Abdullah Al Mayouf under the three sticks; Saud Abdulhamid, Jang Hyunsoo, Ali Al Bulayhi and Khalifah Al Dawsari in defense; Mohammed Kanno, Gustavo Cuéllar and André Carrillo in midfield; and Luciano Vietto, Moussa Marega and Salem Aldawsari up front.

Anthony Taylor was the chosen referee for the match at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium.

Real Madrid won the final and celebrated their title as FIFA Champions – Club World Cup 2022.
