The quarter-finals are over and it’s time for the semi-finals at the COAC. The Carnival of Cadiz group competition is already in its final phase and from this same February 13, without having rested a single day, the chirigotas, choirs and other groups that have advanced in phase will compete against each other in again in an attempt to move forward COAC 2023 final and proclaim themselves winners of the the most important contest of the Carnival festivities in Cadiz.
In total, as decided by the jury yesterday morning, seven choirs, ten comparsas, ten chirigotas and a quartet will compete from this afternoon at the Falla theater in the capital of Cadiz to win a pass for the grand finale. But they won’t do it all at once. Over the next three days, the bundles will be uploaded, every evening from 8:30 p.m.on stage in groups of nine to offer a unique show.

The semi-finals, live on Andalucía TV
Those who wish to follow the semi-finals of the COAC 2023 will be able to do so live on television via Andalucía TV from 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 13, 14 and 15 February.
During the three days, starting at 10:45 p.m., the show will go to Canal Sur TV, where Paz Santana, Soco López, Fati Pizarro and Reyes Alvillo will be in charge of accompanying viewers through a frenetic and, above all, loaded music retransmission .
Friday, February 17, the grand finale in Falla
The grand finale of the COAC 2023 will be held this Friday, February 17 at 8:30 p.m. Then the eight groups that get the pass for the final showdown will take the stage to perform in front of everyone present at the Falla Theater and the thousands and thousands of spectators who will be able to follow the gala from their homes through Canal Sur and Onda Sur .
