There’s nothing left for the 37th edition of the Goya Awards: the prestigious Spanish awards that celebrate the best of our cinema. This edition moves to Seville, where films like The beasts, five wolves o Alcarrás will try to win some of the most important prizes of the year.
For this edition, in addition to having great artists like Guitarricadelafuente on stage, the Academy has had two heavyweights from the world of Spanish cinema: Clara Lago and Antonio San Juan. The actress and the actor resume the roles of masters of ceremonies (a figure they have decided to do without in 2022). But being a presenter at the Goya Awards is poison candy. And it is that everyone will comment on how you did it.

Most criticized
It doesn’t always rain to everyone’s taste, especially when it comes to humor. In recent years, many presenters have come under fire for their onstage jokes. Two of them were Joaquín Reyes and Ernesto Sevilla in 2018. And it is that its tone, therefore La Hora Chanante, did not even reach a scene. There was no shortage of a few cuñao jokes. For example this one that Ernesto released: “Handia, they say it’s a drama but I would say it’s a science fiction film because at the end there is a Basque who fucks.”
But it wasn’t their fault. At least in part. And it is that the script was weak everywhere. The problem is that neither Ernesto nor Joaquín made it theirs. And if in the three hours that the gala lasts you don’t believe what you say, things go wrong.

His predecessor, Dani Rovira, who presented the gala twice, was no exception. But it was in 2017 that he became the target of criticism for a supposedly humorous gag with which he sought to claim more roles for women in film. The problem? it was not understood. Dani appeared wearing red stilettos asking for more women in movies. But we don’t understand it.
Another much-criticized gala whose presenter failed to measure up was in 2014. Manel Fuentes was the host that evening. The problem? The funniest
But not everything was critical. Quite the contrary! Dani Rovira himself, who in 2017 was not very happy with the experience, was appreciated by the public in 2015. His humor, perfect for all audiences, was appreciated by the public.
Another of the presenters who received a lot of applause for her monologues was Eva Hache. The comedian knew how to perfectly adapt his humor to the gala, making the participants and the public laugh. He liked his way of directing the gala so much that he did it two years in a row: 2012 and 2013.
Broncano wasn’t bad either. In 2019, the comedian took over the gala. Like Eva, he was not faked and knew how to bring his sense of humor to the most important party in Spanish cinema. Of course, he did not rehearse as the gala host.
Without a doubt, two of the most beloved and memorable presenters of the Goya Awards were Buenafuente and Silvia Abril. The couple performed a show even after presenting. The two appeared in the same clothes in the Buenafuente program to tell their experience as presenters. Without a doubt, the two actors were ten.
