Starring Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Alan Ritchson (Reacher) and more in the cast, Fast X’s debut trailer perfectly showcases the stellar talent the franchise has amassed over the his top 10 deliveries. This is our first look at the movie and it’s an intense introduction to knife-licking villain Momoa. At just over three and a half minutes long, the video manages to pack in enough family, explosions, and stars to make your head spin.
Two of the biggest scenes from the Fast X trailer appear near the end, and they don’t disappoint. In just 30 seconds of footage, Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, manages to pull a car out of a mid-air plane, land perfectly, then crush two captive helicopters. Apparently, all in the name of the family. It’s a bit hard to understand, but it looks good. Watch Diesel and his gang drive to the end of the road in the Fast X trailer.
For those who have lost track of the racing adventures of the Toretto family, Fast X marks the beginning of the end for the franchise’s main film series. Momoa may bring a new face to the story, but his character, Dante, is the son of Fast Five’s Hernán Reyes. He’s back for revenge after the Fast and Furious gang tore his family apart, and he brings with him 12 years of pain and planning to get what he wants. Larson, for his part, will play an Agency representative who has gone rogue, while Richtson will appear as the new head of the Agency. No doubt Fast X will bring back all the elements fans love about the show, but it’ll be interesting to see how these new stars fit into the larger Fast and Furious plan.
