Vodafone has expanded the availability of commercial 5G services to four new cities in Spain, bringing the total number of locations where these services are available to 25.
As announced by the company in a statement, Castellón, Toledo, The Gran Canarian palms and Santa Cruz of Tenerife are the new Spanish cities in which commercial rates of 5G from Vodafone.
These 5G services allow their users to use, in ideal conditions, their terminals with a download speed of up to 1Gbps and a latency of less than 10 milliseconds. In addition, the coverage of this service reaches at least 50% of the population in the 25 cities where the company offers it.
Vodafone’s 5G network has been considered the best in Spain for six consecutive years by the Umlaut Connect Mobile Benchmark report, the global consulting company and world leader in mobile network benchmarking and testing.
