The Copa del Rey at the WiZink Center will have an Audience

They are already at sale of season tickets and tickets to enjoy the final phase of the XLVI Copa de SM El Rey, which will also bring fantastic news: it will be the first major Spanish sport event in 2021 with an audience.

1,500 spectators will be able to enjoy at the WiZink Center in Madrid, from March 5 to 7, of one of the most anticipated tournaments of the year, in a safe environment in which the strictest sanitary security measures will be met.

“In the situation we live in today, having the warmth of the fans for the first time this year will mean extra motivation for all the people involved in this event, starting with the players themselves” said the Federation.

Tickets can be purchased for a single day or a subscription that includes the matches of the three days.

The WiZink Center is a known setting for our sport, since on two occasions Hispanics have visited it to play international matches, both under the name of Palace of Sports of the Community of Madrid.

The first of them was in 2005, after winning the first world title in Tunisia, when they were measured in a friendly against a world team, a solidarity match for the victims of the Asian tsunami, and which achieved the attendance record with 11,850 spectators.

In 2009, in addition, a friendly match was played against the almighty France.

Finally, all the fans who enjoy handball from their homes will be in luck, since Teledeporte will broadcast the Cup final live from the WiZink Center in Madrid, on Sunday from 7:15 p.m.
