They captured an adult over 72 years old in Ecatepec who allegedly raped his minor granddaughter

On the afternoon of this Friday, March 27, authorities of Ecatepec de Morelos, they announced that they detained José Gilberto “N”, 72 years old, for his alleged guilt in the rape of his minor granddaughter.

According to the bulletin issued by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE), elements of the Mexican municipality prosecutor’s office carried out the arrest warrant for the crime that occurred on June 26, 2014.

The events occurred inside a building located in the Colonia Jardines de Morelos, where the youngest, then eight years old, was in the company of her grandfather, who took advantage of the fact that they were alone to sexually assault her and threaten her so that she would not tell anything about what happened.

However, the victim told his family what had happened and they went to file a complaint with the Public ministry (MP) to begin the investigation of the case.

With the passage of time, and the progress of the investigations by the authorities, the Social Representative asked a judge to issue an arrest warrant against the possible aggressor, which was released and completed.

José Gilberto “N” was admitted to the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of the area, where he was at the disposal of a judge, who must determine his legal situation until the conviction is handed down against him.

In the same neighborhood of the Mexican municipality, on March 17, Crescencio “N”, the 70-year-old was arrested in a neighborhood for abusing and depriving his 11-year-old daughter of liberty.

According to the first reports, Ericka Jeannete “N”, 36, mother of the minor, asked the police for help, since her daughter was inside the home against her will.

Elements of the Security Secretary (SS) and municipal police officers appeared in the neighborhood marked with the number 28 in calle Playa Tijuana, Colonia Jardines de Morelos. There they rescued the girl and arrested the alleged aggressor; her own father.

For the crime of sexual abuse, Cresencio was secured and transferred to the Public Ministry Agency for Crimes Committed Against Women, in San Cristóbal Ecatepec, where the corresponding investigation began.

Meanwhile, the victim, in the company of his mother, was transferred to a hospital to receive medical and psychological care; later it will be presented to the authorities to render their statement.
