The director of Civil Protection of Mexico, Miguel Perales, confirmed this Friday that a private helicopter rushed over a highway to Laredo leaving the balance of a deceased person. The victim was the pilot of the aircraft and the only crew member, according to Civil Protection.
The collapse of the ship caused a strong fire that had to be treated by the authorities of Civil protection and firefighters, reported the Governor of Nuevo León, Jaime Rodríguez Calderón.
The helicopter fell right on an electrical wiring system impacting vehicular traffic on the highway to Laredo, at kilometer 19, in the Apodaca municipality of Nuevo León.
NL firefighters on site carry out work and at the same time cordon off the area.
The circulation from South to North is closed in its entirety.
A lifeless person is confirmed at the scene of the accident.
