The actress is still in shock

The actress Fátima Molina had to witness a tragedy on Monday morning when an explosion caused by gas accumulation in the building where she lives, located in the Benito Juárez Mayor’s Office, of the CDMX.

The version that she was in the building when the events occurred was confirmed by a person very close to the protagonist of soap operas such as Te Acuerdas de Mí, and series such as Who Killed Sara? and Diablero.

“Fatima is fine, and for her the main thing is that all the tenants in that building and around are equally well and healthy,” said the source.

The 35-year-old actress was also said to be overcoming the shock of life.

“Understand that it is a tragedy and these are delicate moments. Right now is not the time for her to give a statement, “added the informant.

According to the Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection, the explosion left 22 people injured, of which six had to be transferred to a hospital.

It was also reported that the Head of Government of CDMX, Claudia Sheinbaum, attended the scene of the accident and the head of Civil Protection, Myriam Uzúa Venegas.

After the explosion, most of the surrounding buildings were evacuated and a security perimeter of one block around was established to avoid risks.

The explosion was caused by the accumulation of liquefied petroleum gas (LP) in an apartment in a residential building in the Mexican capital. The balance at the moment is one dead and 29 injured, authorities reported Monday.

The explosion registered in the middle of the morning destroyed part of the façade, walls and internal floors of a residential building belonging to the Benito Juárez mayor’s office. Of the total injured, eleven were transferred to health centers and one later died as a result of the injuries, the Mexico City mayor’s office reported in a statement.
