A total of 11 people died in an armed attack registered during the night of Sunday in a horse racing lane in the El Sauz sectional in the state of Chihuahua.

Gilberto Loya, head of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE), confirmed this morning that there are 11 men who died in the attack. Five of them lost their lives on the spot and the others on the way to receive medical attention.

In turn, it was reported that four vehicles and a firearm were seized. It was also reported that the lane where the events took place was clandestine, since it did not have permits from the Interior . There is no information about those responsible, it was only revealed that it was a confrontation between criminal groups.

Currently, investigations into the possible motive and identification of those responsible are carried out by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) and, if necessary, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) would intervene.
