Audi Japan ( President Philip Noack , Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) will release the middle-sized SUV ” Q5 ” on March 8 with some improvements. The exterior has been significantly changed, including a larger grille and side intakes. Two grades are available: the “advanced” with vertical aluminum decoration on the grill and the “S line” with a roof spoiler.

The revamped 2-liter in-line 4-cylinder turbo engine is combined with a 7-speed S tronic to generate a maximum output of 150 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 400 Newton meters for the diesel version and a maximum output of 183 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 370 Newton meters for the gasoline version.

Both are equipped with a 12-volt mild hybrid system. The interior is equipped with a 10.1-inch large-sized touch panel screen, which can be combined with the latest infotainment system “MIB3” to enable voice navigation and air conditioning operations.

At the same time, the high-performance model “SQ5” equipped with a 3-liter V-6 direct-injection turbo engine with a maximum output of 260 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 500 newton meters will be developed. Three exclusive colors are also available for the S line and SQ5. The price is 6.81 million to 9.15 million yen (including consumption tax).
