A shooting outside the Henry Dunant Hospital, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, has left at least one person dead and another seriously injured, as reported by various local media.

The attacker would have arrived at the area of ​​the events on a motorcycle, but got off it to repeatedly shoot a couple for causes that are being investigated by the French police authorities.

Shortly after the events, which took place in the early afternoon, the police have cordoned off the area and activated the search protocol for the attacker, who managed to flee, first on foot and then with his motorcycle, from the vicinity of the hospital.

Multiple shots

Several witnesses cited by the journalist of the medium France Evening, Alexandra González, claim to have seen how the attacker got off the motorcycle and repeatedly fired at the victim’s head, even when he was already lying on the ground. Workers at the hospital, owned by the Red Cross, have been unable to do anything to save his life.

The woman who has been injured would be, according to González, a security guard at the hospital. For the moment the identity of the murdered man is unknown.
