He adds that they also stole digital information. “At the time of the theft, only four officials were at work working, who were gagged, but are in good health,” the statement explains.
Speaking to Cablenoticias, a Citizen Free Press affiliate, the Archbishop of Bogotá, Luis José Rueda, said that the robbers “do not respect the most sacred thing that is the life of human beings” and called for “all of us to reconsider.”
For his part, Major General Fernando Murillo Orrego, from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Interpol, said in a statement that between eight and 10 people “in simulation of authority” entered the headquarters and that among the stolen is a safe with the equivalent of US $ 14,000.
He also explained that an investigation team has already been formed and that they offer a reward of up to US $ 5,300 for information on those responsible for the crime.
