Last October 2020, news surprised the almost 2 million followers of Angélica Hernández, a influencer who was captured by authorities in Armenia, Quindío, accused of participating in a criminal network that sold drugs through social networks.

Hernández is a model, DJ and participated in the El Desafío program. The caleña was accused by the justice of selling sweets with a high dose of THC, the hallucinogenic component of marijuana.

In several videos shared, several months ago, by Hernández on his social networks, he could be seen promoting the products that cost him tears. The products he traded on the platforms appeared to be harmless; among these were chocolates and gums, which he claimed were equivalent to smoking marijuana.

“We sell these chocolates, I love them: I eat half a chocolate and it is the equivalent of you having smoked the best quality”, Angelica promoted at the time.

Along with the woman, six people, who made up the band known as ‘Los Académicos’, were prosecuted for crimes of conspiracy to commit aggravated crimes, trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs; manufacture, trafficking, carrying or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition, and illicit destination of real estate.

After six months in prison, Hernández was released on March 30. This was evidenced in a video uploaded to social networks in which the welcome that his family organized with all of the law is detailed to celebrate the return of the businesswoman home.

However, although the return of the DJ made her followers happy, that was not what captured everyone’s attention, since the Cali announced that she was 7 months pregnant, that is to say that when she was captured by the authorities she was already in her first stage of gestation.
