Bloody Rosario: two people have been murdered and there have already been 52 homicides in 2023

Two crimes that occurred between Thursday evening and Friday morning increased to 52 the number of intentional homicides in Rosario, according to the Public Security Observatory.

The first murder took place in the neighborhood of Santa Lucía, at the corner of Provincia de Misiones and José María Rosa, which is the collector of Circunvalación Avenue. According to testimony collected by the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Agency, two women on motorbikes shot Rodrigo Rolón, 22who at the time traveled by bicycle.

After Rolón fell dead, the suspect accompanying him got off and left a piece of paper between the spokes of the bike that referred to a “war” between gangs.

The young man had blows to the back, on the chest and on the shoulder. Forensic experts removed eight 9mm caliber pods and displayed them at the scene of the murder.

In the same place, 20 days ago, there was a homicide, when from a car they opened fire in the province of Misiones at 9:00 p.m. and murdered Belén Sofía Rodríguez, 18 years old. During the same incident, three other young people aged 21 to 25 were also injured. At this time, it is unknown if the two attacks are related to each other.

On Wednesday evening, two contract killers broke in, murdered an 18-year-old girl and injured her mother, in Villa Banana, one of the red light districts in the western area of ​​Rosario.

A few hours after the crime in the neighborhood of Santa Lucia, another death occurred in Villa Pororó, an irregular settlement also located west of Rosario. According to the reconstitution carried out by the OPP, Franco Emanuel Alegre, 25, was shot seven times on train tracks which are located at the intersection of Felipe Moré and Riobamba

The medical examiner who visited the scene of the murder this Friday morning He found gun holes in Alegre’s back and arms. At this place, the experts seized nine pods of 9 millimeter caliber.

The mechanics of the attack on Franco Alegre is currently unclear, since from the start Police could not find witness statements that provided details of the shooting. What attracted attention was the early morning admission of a 33-year-old man to Carrasco hospital with a bullet in his right leg, coming from Riobamba and Felipe Moré, but he did not not yet been established if he was a second victim of the attack. or a possible aggressor.

Although the Public Security Observatory establishes that until this Friday there were 52 crimes in the department of Rosario (26 in January and 26 in February), Judicial sources clarified that one of the cases is a possible suicide, which occurred this Thursday afternoon in a house located in front of Parque Urquiza, which is the subject of a preliminary investigation by the tax unit of intentional homicides , although there is no clear indication that it was committed, I attempted murder.

The victim is a 50-year-old man, whose body had gunshot wounds to the chest. Inside his home, a 32-caliber revolver was found on the bed – in the drum of which there were two shells struck –, three knives and a note, which is currently the subject of an investigation by prosecutor Paolicelli .
