Spotify refreshes My Library screen, easier to search than ever

Spotify announced on April 29th (local time) that it will update the La My Library screen of the Spotify app for mobile to make it easier to find collections than ever before.

Spotify has made changes to the home screen and so on, but My Library hasn’t been updated since it was split into music and podcasts in 2019. You can still search, but you had to take a few steps to access it.

But on the new screen, a search icon appears at the top for immediate access. You can browse and search both music and podcasts in one place. There’s also a new dynamic filter that lets you see only downloaded content when you’re on the go.

The display method has also been modified so that it can be sorted alphabetically or in the order of recent playback, and it also supports tile display such as the home screen. You can pin up to four playlists, albums, and podcast shows, and even pin them to the top.

The new My Library will be available to all Android and iOS users next week.
