A teenage boy in Florida, who was accused of being the mastermind of the case, reportedly agreed to a judicial transaction convicted of three years in prison and three years of probation.
The mastermind, Graham Ivan Clark, has hijacked 130 corporate and personal Twitter accounts and deceived people for about $ 117,000.
At the time of the incident, Twitter was under urgent action to suspend the hijacked account, delete the tweet, and temporarily freeze a large number of accounts, including all authenticated users, as a precautionary measure.
