Sevilla and Villarreal drew 1-1 this Sunday afternoon. In a big game of the La Liga round, the yellow submarine could have taken a right step towards the European zone, but was ‘framed’ with a goal at the end of the curtain.

The net shook, initially, in the 54th minute. However, VAR spotted Dia’s offside when Koundé headed it offside. Still, Lo Celso went for more and scored. In the 86′, the Estadio de la Cerámica was euphoric. Sevilla, which was far below expectations, drew level in the last breath for Rafa Mir and poured a bucket of cold water over the opponent.

With this tie, Sevilla remains in third place, but further away from Barcelona and closer to At. Madrid. Villarreal, on the other hand, provisionally entered the European zone, taking Athletic out of access to the Conference League, but still far from ensuring that they will be in European competitions next season.
