Iman’s dance partner, Daniella Karagach, helped him prepare for his dance routine through inspiration. The pair appeared wearing the red jumpsuits of the doppelgangers.
Contemporary dance was based on Jordan Peele’s “Us”, and during the routine the remix “I Got 5 On It” was played. “I Got 5 On It” is a mix of Us by Luniz with Michael Marshall. The song was released on May 23, 1995. One of the judges, Derek Hough, was also pushing for a score of 11.
Of course, the maximum score for each individual judge is 10. Hough said, “That’s something people are going to watch over and over again.” During the performance, Karagach climbed onto the guard’s shoulders. As a reminder, Shumpert is 6’5 ”tall.
