Twitter is conducting studies to integrate a special tab dedicated to podcasts.
Researcher Jane Wong shared a tweet with a screenshot of the new Podcasts tab in the bottom navigation bar of the Twitter mobile app.
This development indicates that Twitter is about to take a big step towards podcast discovery.
Twitter for Podcasts also acquired podcast discovery app Breaker last year. Perhaps, although Twitter actually has bigger plans for a more targeted integration of Breaker’s ability to listen to podcasts, it could connect it to chat rooms and then connect to recorded chat rooms as podcasts to listen in a new tab.
