Two swimming pools, jacuzzi, private helipad, tennis court, game room and many other amenities

Boris Johnson has chosen Spain, more specifically the Costa del Sol, to take a few days off along with his wife Carrie and their 17-month-old son, Wilfred.

The trip of the British prime minister, who arrived on Thursday morning at Torre de Tramores, a luxury villa in the municipality of Benahavís north of Marbella (Málaga), has raised the controversy.

Criticisms of the Conservative Party leader’s vacation getaway were not long in coming due to the supply crisis in his country. But what is the luxurious place that Johson has chosen to rest really like?

The British politician would find himself in a luxury villa between the towns of Marbella and Benahavís in Torre de Tramores. It is a 600 hectare estate that has already been a place visited by other celebrities such as Princess Diana, Jemima Khan or the actor Hugh Grant.

It is surrounded by trees, orchards and livestock. Also two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, private helipad, tennis court, games room and many other amenities that are available to the Prime Minister.

The place is located less than a kilometer from the urban case of Benahavís, one of the richest municipalities in Malaga, with an income of more than 30,000 euros.

This town of 8,085 inhabitants has a large number of luxury developments distributed in its natural environment. Among them are El Madroñal and, especially, La Zagaleta, considered the most luxurious in Europe.

Benahavís was also the place chosen to rest for a few days by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his family as early as 2012.
