The legendary rapper DMX, who was nominated for a Grammy, died this Friday at the age of 50, his family confirmed in a statement.

According to the RT portal, Earl Simmons struggled for many years with drug addiction, specifically crack, and had been admitted to rehabilitation centers several times. His last period of rehab in 2019 came after he served a 12-month sentence for tax evasion.
