Tekashi 6ix9ine says he doesn’t think order is necessary and their relationship is fine.

Last month, we reported that rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine and his girlfriend Jade got into an altercation outside a nightclub in Miami, Florida. Video footage caught her, whose real name is Rachel Wattley, frantically yelling at her boyfriend before trying to throw something at his head. After the officers intervened, the New York artist told them that his girlfriend punched him several times, leaving a mark on his face.

After their fight, Jade was arrested and charged with assault. Now, she has been hit with a restraining order. According to TMZ, the legal documents stated that she is banned from having any contact with 6ix9ine. This included phone calls, texts, letters and social media. Furthermore, the rapper’s girlfriend was ordered to stay 500 meters away from him as well.

Despite the extent of their problems, Tekashi 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, claimed the order was unnecessary. He told the network that their relationship is in good shape. In fact, until it’s all over — which he’s sure it will — the rapper allowed Jade and her son to stay at his Florida home while he looked for a hotel. When everything is resolved, the artist stated that he would join his girlfriend and continue their relationship as normal.

Although 6ix9ine has told police he has no intention of pressing charges, a judge can still proceed if his companion violates the restraining order. In related news, the rapper recently came out to say he’s in a “dark place” and took a step back from his career to address his mental well-being.
