María Morales, his mother, interviews and talks with the Catalan about his singleness, homosexuality and family
The singleness of the Catalan is one of the great concerns of a mother who has always been by his side, and although in the shadows, it is one of the great supports of Jorge Javier:
“You have to lower the bar, because you want something for the other person, but maybe he wants something else for you. You are a good match and a good person, a born worker. You have it all. But you ask a boyfriend for many things”, Maria slides, making a clear allusion to her son’s demand with men.
His mother does not understand that the presenter of ‘Save me’ has as a requirement that the one who can become his partner must be 30 years old and much younger than him:
“That it is important for you I see it great, it is a very important thing, but maybe there is a man who loves you more thoroughly without having to have as much sex as you want.”
Both she and the communicator’s sisters think that he “is a somewhat complicated person to live with as a couple” because “he has many strange things” because “the artists are from another world”, María adds in a jocular tone.
On the issue of homosexuality, the mother complains to her son that she has never told him that he was gay, something that he did tell his sisters:
“I told both of them and asked them not to tell you anything, because I was going to say, but they didn’t pay any attention to me, ”says Jorge Javier. “But if I already knew. Do you think I didn’t know? Since you were little. It didn’t matter to me that you were gay, but the only fear I had is thinking about how life is,” she clarifies.
