Johnny Depp’s return to the cinema is getting closer. After three years away from acting due to clashes with his ex-wife Amber Heard, he now returns to the big screen to star as Jeanne du Barry. In the film he will play Louis XV, king of France for 59 years, and the first image characterized as his character caused a furor among fans.

In the photo he posed in profile, blindfolded, with white hair and slightly paler skin. In addition, he dressed in one of the typical outfits worn by the 18th century monarch. The former Willy Wonka will co-star in the film with Maïwenn, who in addition to being the director and co-writer of the script with Teddy Lussi-Modeste, will also play Jeanne du Barry.
