Belén Esteban returned yesterday to the set of ‘Sábado Deluxe’, but she did not do so as a collaborator, but rather as an interviewee. The so-called princess of the people underwent the rigorous Conchita’s polygraph and she was honest about some issues, such as her continuity in ‘Sálvame’.

Paracuellos’s has been linked to Telecinco’s star format since its inception back in 2009, but it seems that her marriage to the magazine is about to end. This is what she herself confessed when asked about it:

“I have very little left.” In fact, the talk show host has made it clear that if she hasn’t already left her job, it has been because of her family.

“If I have not done it, it has been because of my husband and my daughter, because my daughter loves that she is in ‘Sálvame’. She lives outside and sees that I’m not at home. The house falls on me, but I have little left,” stressed Belén Esteban on one of her most sincere nights on ‘Sábado Deluxe’.

Of course, the collaborator wanted to make it clear that the economic question has not been a problem for her and that she has always felt very protected by her superiors.

“The least I have argued with my bosses has been about money. I feel valued and well paid, I have a job that I like and I am very well”, clarified Belén Esteban.

In addition, she specified that, despite her announcement, her departure from ‘Sálvame’ will not be imminent. “But it won’t be in these months, in fact I just renew with La Fábrica de la Tele, in which I have been 12 years”.

Similarly, the collaborator expressed her intention to definitively withdraw from the media scene, with no plans to return in the short or medium term: “The day I leave TV, it will be because I am leaving TV. I’m very tired”.

Belén Esteban pointed out that the most compelling reason that has led her to make this decision is the need to spend more time with her mother. The woman lives in Benidorm and the woman from Paracuellos would like to have more time to visit her, especially now that, apparently, she is not going through her best moment of health:

“I have to consider it little by little, but already a lot does not fit. There are people who need me and I have to be there, because I wouldn’t forgive myself. My mother needs me more now and I’m also with my company, I’m going to get more things.”

Her fight with Paz Padilla

How could it be otherwise, Belén Esteban was also honest about her past row with Paz Padilla, a historic showdown that ended with the presenter leaving ‘Sálvame’ in full direct. The collaborator regretted that she felt “alone”, although she did not expect her colleagues to support her “because that was a thing for Paz and me”.

However, both Kiko Matamoros and Jorge Javier Vázquez made her see that, although many will remain silent during the moment of maximum tension, they actually supported her. “In a very clear way, many positioned themselves by your side”, sentenced the one from Badalona.
