Antonio José signed another evening to remember last night at the Starlite Catalana Occidente Auditorium. The musician from Cordoba, a child prodigy of music, returned to La Cantera after his successes in 2017 and 2020 to show that he is an artist more than consolidated in the current music scene, with a third vibrant visit that enthused his loyal fans.

The contestant from ‘La Voz’ and ‘EuroJunior’ presented his latest album ‘Antídoto’ at Starlite Catalana Occidente, the most international project of his career with which he gives the opportunity to listen to him surrounded by numerous fellow artists, composers and producers.

Live, this work is shown with an impeccable sound and, wrapped in its most consolidated themes, they made up a round show that the public of the most important boutique festival in Europe knew how to appreciate from the first minute.

The Cordovan singer surprised his audience at the beginning of the concert with the song ‘Me equivocaré’, a song he sang from the Presidential Box to dedicate a fragment to the founder of the festival, Sandra García-Sanjuán, where they merged in an emotional hug.

Moments before going on stage, Antonio José expressed his gratitude for being part of the poster of a historic edition for Starlite Catalana Occidente, that of its first decade of life taking the best artists in the world on stage: “this magical quarry where so many dreams come true and mine has been here for a long time and I am happy to step on these boards again”.

The night continued with the song ‘Grito’ where he stopped previously to dedicate a few words to his audience and the festival:

“Good evening Starlite, how wonderful to be here for another year. Thank you all from the heart, thanks to this piece of festival, thanks to this house that I already consider as something of mine, thanks for opening the doors of this quarry for another year. Sandra and Ignacio and the entire Starlite team, I love you very much from my heart.”

Before beginning to interpret ‘Leave that idiot’, the artist wanted to dedicate the concert to all those women who suffer abuse and took the opportunity to remember the citizens who, unfortunately, on the other side of the world, in Afghanistan, are living terrifying moments.

One of the most special moments of the concert was when the singer performed with his voice and accompanied by a piano his song ‘Tu Boca’ which ended a cappella leaving the audience astonished.

Antonio José loves to write about the universal feeling of love and that predilection has also been reflected in his latest hit, ‘They have seen you cry’, a song with which, far from crying, his fans reached the climax in a concert that it will remain engraved on their retinas until the next appointment with the artist.

The closing of the night came to the rhythm of ‘You forced me’, where the audience was able to enjoy the strength and so special voice of the Andalusian artist.

Among the attendees who attended the concert were the footballer Oliver Torres, the film production company Monika Bacardi, businessman Miguel Sierralta and the singer Alicia Banquez.

The Ministry of Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía collaborates with Starlite within the framework of its strategy to promote the community as a destination of reference for the celebration of great cultural events, events that multiply the dissemination of our offer, enrich the tourist proposal of the region and complement the stay of the thousands of travelers that Andalusia receives during the summer season.
