Samsung plans to announce the renewal of two of its most important smartphones in its catalog: the folding ones Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4, this summer, and its presentation date seems to be very close. A leak has revealed that both devices, which according to rumors will arrive with better screens, a new design and more powerful specifications, could be officially revealed next August in the traditional Unpacked.
The leak, in particular, comes from Evan Blass, a popular leaker with a considerably high success rate. Blas has shared on his Twitter profile an image that reveals, in a blurred way, the folding Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and in which a date is shown: August 10, 2022.
This, therefore, could be the day chosen by the company to celebrate its Unpacked and officially announce not only the clamshell folding, but also the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which has a screen that unfolds in horizontal format.
Samsung, yes, has not yet confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. However, the company usually announces these devices during the month of August.
What we expect from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4
The leaks on both smartphones are, at the moment, somewhat scarce. However, there are important details that we already know. One of them is related to appearance, and that is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 could include flat frames, following the design line of devices such as the iPhone 13.

Samsung is also expected to improve the flexible display of Galaxy Z Fold 4 by minimizing the wrinkle that appears when the device is fully unfolded. This, in fact, is something that different manufacturers have already achieved, such as Oppo, with its Find N.
Regarding its specifications, it is likely that both will maintain the same screen size and resolution. Both devices could come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 gen 1 processor, or the Exynos 2200 that the company announced earlier this year.
