Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios unveiled the new poster for the upcoming movie of the spider hero, offering new clues about the long-awaited film.

The image shows Tom Holland’s Spider-Man facing what appear to be the mechanical tentacles of the villain Doctor Octopus, which, as confirmed in the first trailer for “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, will be played by the actor. Alfred Molina, who already gave him life in the 2004 film “Spider-Man 2”.
But that’s not all, in the upper right corner you can see the Green Goblin, another villain, who was played by Willem Dafoe in 2002’s “Spider-Man” and in the aforementioned “Spider-Man 2”.
Lightning and columns of sand are also visible in the background, which could be a reference to the villains Electro and Sand Man.
“Spider-Man: No Way Home” will open in theaters on December 17.
