Powerball hits record $1.9 billion

After no one won the draw on Saturday, November 5, the Powerball lottery jackpot skyrocketed to $1.9 billion.

The prize for yesterday was $1,600 million dollars. The winning numbers for the draw were 28, 45, 53, 56 and 59 for the white balls and for the red ball it was 20.

Tomorrow, Monday, November 7, there will be another chance for someone to win the record prize.

In the event that the winner decides to receive the prize in a single cash payment, this will be $929.1 million dollarssays the California lottery website. In case of preferring the prize in an annual installment to 29 years, it will be $1,900 million dollars.

It is estimated that the odds of winning the prize are one in 292.2 million. Still the participation among new and returning players has increased.
