How to play?
To play Powerball alone you must select five numbers from 1 to 69 for the white balls. Then you must select a number from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
If you match all six numbers you win the jackpot.
How is the prize collected?
Prizes must be claimed in the jurisdiction of the state where the winning ticket was purchased. Players can usually claim a prize of up to $600 at any store that is licensed to sell lottery tickets in the jurisdiction where they purchased the ticket.

A Powerball jackpot winner can choose to receive their prize as an annuity, given in 30 payments over 29 years, or a single lump sum cash payment. For the annuity, the annual payments increase by 5% each year.
Cash Option is the amount of money required to be in the jackpot fund on drawing day to fund the annual jackpot prize.
