On Friday, the Lottery said player Donna Dubois, 58, of Ormond Beach, claimed the $15 million jackpot from a July 23, 2022 Florida Lotto drawing. .
DuBois received the money from her as a one-time lump sum award of $9.87 million, after paying required state and federal taxes.
The new billionaire bought her winning ticket at the V Discount Beverage store, located at 775 South Nova Road in the city of Ormond Beach. The store will earn a $100,000 commission just for selling the winning ticket.
The next Florida Lotto draw will take place this Saturday at 11:15 p.m.
