June 6th is a day I’ve marked on the calendar with colored markers since it was announced at the last Game Awards gala in December 2022 that this would be the final release date Diablo IV. It’s one of those games that I can’t wait to go crazy for two specific reasons: first, because it belongs to one of my favorite sagas in history. And also because I think this will be a litmus test for Blizzard in order to win back a sector of the community from which it received a lot of criticism after everything that happened with Diablo Immortal.

Anyway, here I want to talk to you about what we will soon have the opportunity to try Diablo IV for free, given that the makers have announced two new beta releases that we can sink into for the next awaited installment of the saga. How to try Diablon IV for free with its closed beta and open beta

The Diablo IV trial period will take place from next March through two phases: a closed and a second open, as the company commented through a video it published from the IGN. Then I leave you with all the details of both.

First closed beta

  • This will take place from March 17 to 19.
  • It will be exclusive for those who have reserved the game
  • This implies that, if you have booked it, an email will be sent to you when the time comes in which will be the instructions to access this closed test

Second open beta

  • This will take place from March 24 to 26.
  • It will be open to everyonewhether or not you pre-ordered the game
  • To access it, you will need to go to the game page in the store of the platform on which you are going to play. I leave them to you below:

  • This is just the beginning of Diablo IV, which will expand its content with new events, stories, seasons and rewards, and more.

Are you going to participate in these Diablo IV betas? As Blizzard commented, we can play the title as much as we want while it lasts until we reach level 25; although they have not confirmed that the progress of these will carry over to the game later.
