17 years ago, teenagers and children around the world said goodbye to Zoe 101. Nickelodeon’s drama came to an end after four seasons coinciding with the pregnancy of its protagonist, Jamie Lynn Spears, leaving PCA’s hallways, classrooms and gardens empty.
A goodbye that seemed final and yet it is not. At the start of the year, the reboot of the series in the form of a film was confirmed with the return of most of the actors. and Jamie Lynn Spears as the protagonist and executive producer from the hand of Paramount Plus and under the name of Zoe 102where we can see how the lives of these teenagers changed after their separation and their arrival in adulthood.
Even so, there are some very expensive names that won’t return on reboot. The last to disassociate herself from the project was Victoria Justice. The actress and singer turned 30 on Sunday and entered the new decade of her life by releasing the seventh single of her career, Last man standingwith the promise that his debut album would be released soon.
He said it during an interview for vanity loungein which he explained that the reasons for the refusal to carry out the project were related to a problem of schedule: “It wasn’t the right time and it didn’t work out, but I’ve been in touch with Jamie and the whole cast and they couldn’t be more understanding. I would have liked to be there with them. I loved doing this series. It was a turning point in my life and I had a lot of fun doing it. I have so much love for the whole cast, we had a great time and I have nothing but love for them.”
As the actress herself states, we won’t be able to see the mythical Lola Martínez return to the big screen with the rest of her campus mates, but what seems clear is that we’ll have Victoria Justice for a while. . In her facet of actress, this 2023 will present two films in which she participated, The Tutor and California King, and in her facet of singer, Despite the fact that the album is not ready, we will see how little by little new songs enter our lives:
“I’m definitely going to release an album. It’s going to happen. At the moment I can’t say it’s done in any way, but I’m focusing on releasing a few singles. At the moment I have a collection of songs that I’m very proud of,” she told the magazine.
