A traffic accident around noon Friday in northwest Miami left one person in critical condition and two officers hospitalized.
The collision occurred between a patrol car and another vehicle at the intersection of Northwest 25th Avenue and 26th Street, police said.
The two police officers and the civilian involved in the crash were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The subject, who has not been identified, was transferred in critical condition.
Aerial footage of the location showed an overturned truck and the patrol very close. The truck apparently hit a wall beside the track.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation. Motorists are asked to avoid the area during the hours around noon.
