Humor is something objective and it is often difficult to find comedies that really make us laugh. Fortunately, the last year has been filled with many releases in this genre, so right now we have plenty to choose from on our streaming platforms. In this article, we review all the services on the market to find the funniest movies. Here’s our pick of comedies, along with the platforms they’re on.

The long-awaited sequel to Daggers in the Back is finally available on Netflix And while it’s not quite on the same level as the original film, it’s still a very enjoyable comedy-mystery flick. Moreover, it has a cast full of stars such as Daniel Craig, Kate Hudson, Janelle Monae and Dave Bautista, among many others.

A new franchise from Dreamworks that the whole family will enjoy. The Bad Guys is a parody of heist movies., featuring various animals that often act as villains in children’s stories. The film very well parodies a genre that has already been seen too much, and has a group of rather charismatic characters.
Fire Island
Many Jane Austen classics have received modern adaptations such as Pride, Prejudice and Zombies. Fire Island does not feature the walking dead, but takes the iconic Pride and Prejudice and uses themes from the novel to tell the story of a group of men who travel to Fire Island, the famous gay vacation destination.
Banshees by Inisherin
Although the plot of Inisherin’s Banshees is about depression, the approach given to the subject is quite comical. The film tells the story of two lifelong friends, whose relationship abruptly dissolved. One of them will attempt to repair their link, but the other will do nothing on their part. This portrait of friendship has just the right amount of drama.
Red
Pixar surprised us again with a coming-of-age story, but with a very original argument. As a teenager, Mei loses control of her body and begins to transform into a huge red panda when she least expects it. While this movie’s gags don’t quite live up to Pixar’s best, it’s still a pretty enjoyable comedy.
The lost city
A romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. The Lost City tells the story of a romantic novel author who ends up living through a biased version of one of his books. The film also has great supporting roles, like Brad Pitt and Daniel Radcliffe.
Bob’s Burgers: The Movie
Bob’s Burgers is a Fox animated series, not as long as The Simpsons, but it already has more than 10 seasons. With such success, a movie about the series had to happen sooner or later. Bob’s Burgers: The film is a curious mix of comedy, mystery and musical comedy, which works quite well and ends up passing in one breath.
Fooled forever
It can’t be said that the Jackass movies are a marvel in terms of storyline, but sometimes the simplest things are the funniest. Johnny Knoxville and his old gang are back and they’ve set the bar high. The follies of Jackass Forever are some of the most dangerous and fun in the saga, and that’s saying a lot.
Thor: love and thunder
Love and Thunder may not be as funny as its predecessor, Ragnarok, but the touch of romantic comedy suits this episode well. The interactions between Thor and his ex are the best in this episode. Unfortunately, the humor here is not as well dosed as in other works by director Taika Waititi, and many jokes don’t quite work. Even so, love and thunder will make you laugh a little.
I want you to come back
Peter and Emma are two people abandoned by their partners on the same day. Together, they will come up with a plan to get them back., but things between them will eventually get complicated along the way. While it’s nothing we haven’t seen in other rom-coms, I Want You Back has some gags that work pretty well. It also features Charlie Day, actor known for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Minions: Origin of Gru
The Minions are all about comedy, and their latest installment was a hit with adults and kids alike, too. Gru’s Origin Tells What This Villain’s Childhood Was Like With The Minions, and what were his first diabolical plans. Although it’s the fifth installment in the franchise, this sequel goes above and beyond the level of Gru’s previous adventures.
Dog
A road movie with Channing Tatum. dog treats an ex-soldier with PTSD who is tasked with bringing a military dog to his friend’s funeral. The film deals with serious issues such as war, trauma, family and death, but it also leaves room for comedy and is very entertaining.
Chip and Chop: Guardian Lifeguards
The spiritual heir of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. A detective comedy with Chip and Chop, which mixes animation and real image. Rescue Guardians parodies the Hollywood industry very well, and even Disney reboots. This movie was a breath of fresh air, and way better than anyone expected.

Comedies starring Ryan Reynolds usually work, and The Adam Project is no exception. The film is about a space pilot who travels back in time to the year 2022 and joins his 12-year-old child on a mission to save the future. Project Adam is a cocktail of action and comedy not to be missed.

The big winner of the last Oscar gala. Everything at the same time everywhere is above all a most original film, full of action, science fiction and full of absurd humor. It’s surprising that such a funny tape won the prize for best picture, but it must be recognized that All at once everywhere is unique.
