Papadopulos is accused of the crime of wrongful death aggravated by the reckless driving of a motor vehicle and by fleeing the scene without providing assistance to the victim.

It all happened on December 17, minutes after 11 at night, when Débora Inés Agosti and her son Isaac Sus crossed San Pedrito Avenue, at the intersection with Directorate Avenue, and were run over by the white vehicle driven by Papadopulos. The boy was killed instantly, while his mother was seriously injured.

At first, his father Rubén was the one who appeared before the Justice and alleged that the car that hit Issac and his mother was his property. When it was determined that he was not the one who was driving the vehicle and he swore that he did not know anything about his son, an operation was mounted to find him young man, who after being a fugitive for nine days turned himself in on December 25 at the Homicide Division of the City Police, located at 1,350 Scalabrini Ortiz Avenue, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo. Until now he remains detained in a police station awaiting a place in the prison system.
