The fourth John Wick film hits theaters this Friday in what will be the theatrical return of one of the best action sagas of recent years, if not the best. The trilogy has been very successful, and what started as one movie has grown into an entire universe that is also developing a Prime Video series and a spin-off movie starring Ana de Armas. As usual with shared cinematic universes, between production times the viewer may have lost details of previous films. John Wick
John Wick, a retired former hitman, mourns the death of his late wife, Helen. To get past him, she left him a dog. One night in New York he is approached by a group of Russian gangsters, who steal his car and kill the puppy. John Wick wants revenge and reunites with all his allies, Winston and Sharona. Meanwhile, Wick is staying at the Continental Hotel, a haven for assassins, serving as neutral ground. Winston, who owns the hotel, warns John that going back to the past you left behind is dangerous. John Wick infiltrates the club and eliminate half of the Russian mafia. In the end, after tending to his wounds, he ended up adopting another puppy.
John Wick 2: Blood Pact
Santino, an Italian crime lord, drags John into the underworld. Santino orders John to kill his sister so he can sit at the ancient and powerful High Table.. She kills herself first, but John takes responsibility. The High Table offers a bounty on the head of an excommunicated John, there’s an open contract, Wick is fighting for his life. John flees to the Continental, Santino is there and John kills him, break the continental code and become a fugitive.
John Wick 3: Parabellum
John comes back again but with a bounty on his head, all the guild’s mercenaries chase him. wick was expelled from the Continental after killing Santino to the hotel and break the code. The riskiest Rom, his old crime family, gives him a safe pass to leave New York. To save the Continental, Winston fakes John’s death. Wick is saved by the outcast King Bowery and together they swear revenge on the high table.
