Because indeed, even if the anime as such has already adapted the story to the full one that was seen in the manga, it was announced out of nowhere that The franchise will have a new anime.. This ad might not make sense right now, but with a bit of context, it’s easy to see.

- Basically the only thing that has been confirmed regarding this new anime is that will be responsible for adapting stories from the manga that were not included in the previous anime. Likewise, the official name as such is ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets∽‘.
- What does that mean? That we will surely not have in this anime of The Quintessential Quintuplets a story with a “thread” as such, but that we will most likely see a set of episodes in OVA form (but paying). That’s MY interpretation, but I can’t see much else that’s honestly viable.
- As for when this anime will be released or how many episodes it will have when it airs, the truth is that for now all of this is completely unknown information. However, I see obvious that no one should expect more than 12 episodes in this case.
I know it’s a little hard to believe on a day like April 1st, but the announcement is completely real (unless the official bodies want to pull a ruthlessly elaborate hoax). In any case, the announcement is all bones at the moment, so to better see what this new anime of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” will be about, the truth is that we will have to be patient, it seems.
