The bone Lakers Los Angeles is climbing the Western Conference standings, as are its social media followers.

ICT Tac became the most downloaded app in the world in 2022, and NBA teams have joined them, taking advantage of the opportunity to gain followers and engagement to grow their online presence.

Recently, the sports betting site Gambling.com decided to analyze the Tik Tok accounts of all 30 NBA teams to see which franchise had the most likes, followers, videos and earnings per video.

It’s no surprise that the defending champion Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers were crowned Kings of Tik Tok.

Lakers Tik Tok videos have more likes and more average likes per video than any other NBA team. The Lake Show averages over 128,000 likes per video posted on its Tik Tok account.

The Warriors led the NBA in terms of followers with 5.2 million and a total likes of over 57.2 million. Based on those numbers, his estimated revenue per video is over $5,161 per video.

The Dallas Mavericks Tik Tok team is the most active with over 850 videos posted on their account and counting.

The numbers indicate the Lakers have a lot of work to do to surpass the defending NBA champions in total Tik Tok followers and likes. But, since the Lakers have a much higher engagement per post than the Warriors, once the follower count grows, they should be able to surpass them overall.

The presence in the social networks it has become an essential part of any sports team’s footprint and reach over the past decade. Social media giants Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and now Tik Tok have enabled direct access and engagement for fans and their favorite teams.

Now when LeBron James and Anthony Davis connect on a piece known as alley oop dunk that you would normally only see in the Top 10 Sports Centers, can go viral in minutes and be seen by millions of people in no time.
